Sale Announced
When the owner of the Las Vegas Horseshoe
Casino died, he left a horde of 100,000 Morgan and Peace silver
dollars. The coins are certified in the top grades - MS64-66 - and
are in special green labeled slabs.
Ted Binion's Morgan dollars have been
sold, but the Peace dollars are being sold individually by Goldline
International, Inc. Peace dollars, designed by Anthony DeFrancisci,
were struck at all three mints between 1921 and 1935.
The reverse bears an eagle, with wings
folded, looking at the sunrise. The word "Peace" appears
under the eagle. The coins will cost $49 for the lowest grade,
$120 for the middle, and $700 for MS66. The coins can be seen on
the web at www.BinionCollection.com.
